Our purple bud cake is impossible to oversteep. It starts with bright, pungent, yet soft wet tobacco aroma followed up by a big body effect and a delightful throat feel (little hints of fresh croissant in the freshly moistened leaves). A light bitterness and lingering floral aftertaste accompany each steep. After the wash and first steep the body becomes warm and the cup smells of bittersweet cacao. This is a big chi cake with a light but rich flavor and aroma.
