Puer
Puer is both a tea name and a place name. The mountains of Yunnan, where the old town of Puer resides, provide a unique climate for the cultivation of this tea, at elevations where near continuous spring-like conditions exist. Unlike other tea types, Puer is truly fermented rather than oxidized. Our selections includes both loose leaf and pressed forms. They represent naturally aged sheng (raw) leaves to shu (cooked) puers that undergo accelerated fermentation. Both offer amazing tea tasting experiences.
